Ents & Leisure Supervisor – Holiday Parks

Also known as: Blue Coat, Red Coat, Entertainment Team Leader, Guest Services Supervisor

The entertainment and leisure supervisor is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the entertainment and leisure team members and ensuring that the holiday centre is a vibrant and fun environment.

Your day-to-day duties may involve:

• meeting and greeting guests
• arranging events
• liaising with the guests
• co-ordinating the entertainment shows
• training new and existing team members

As an entertainment and leisure supervisor it’s your role to motivate the entertainment and leisure team members to provide guests with the best holiday ever! Your team are the first to meet and greet guests as they arrive at the holiday centre, so you will ensure that they uphold fantastic customer service and make every single guest feel welcome.

On the first evening you will organise a welcome event, inform guests about the entertainment and where the local amenities are located. While guests are staying at the holiday centre, their health and safety is in your hands. As the entertainments and leisure supervisor you must regularly brief your team about health and safety procedures, and immediately inform the guests of fire exits and who to contact in an emergency.

You will supervise and organise many of the leisure and entertainment services, from stage shows to sporting activities. You will also make sure your team members are enthusiastic during the entertainment shows, and keep the holiday centre clean.

While you aren’t entertaining the guests you will have various administrative tasks to do, such as confirming guest bookings, compiling budgets and completing reports for head office.
